Publications & acknowledgements

Preparing a manuscript, grant, thesis, or report? Select the services, equipment, and workflows used in your project. We'll generate a customized draft of your Methods, acknowledgements, and recommended citations, ready for you to review, edit, and finalize.

Step 1

How did your project run?

Collaborator rate
Your project was charged the reduced collaborator rate because facility staff contributed scientifically to the work. In return, the staff or faculty members who made significant scientific contributions are included as co-authors following standard authorship guidelines, and the facility and infrastructure acknowledgements below are included.
Academic (service) rate
Your project was charged the standard academic rate. Staff or faculty members are not included as co-authors, unless their contribution independently meets authorship criteria. The facility acknowledgement is still required, the instruments used are detailed in your Methods, and staff can be thanked in the Acknowledgements section.

Step 4 · optional

Thank people who helped

Entirely optional. Each selection adds a thank-you sentence with a [name] placeholder for you to fill in. Not sure who to name? Email us.

Your text

This tool drafts the imaging, instrument, software, and acknowledgement wording. Study-specific sections, such as dosing, sample collection, and statistical analysis, are not included. Every project is different, so please send the final wording to Dr. Cristina Rodriguez (cristina.rodriguez@ubc.ca) to review and complete before you submit.
